• Siri Teigum

    Appointed to the board as of 16 May 2015, and as board chair as of 16 May 2017. Siri Teigum is a partner at the law firm Thommessen, where she heads up the EU/EEA and competition law practice. Siri Teigum is a director of Gyldendal ASA. She holds a law degree from the University of Oslo and an EU law qualification from the College of Europe.
  • Bjørn Østbø

    Appointed as a board member as of 16 May 2017. Bjørn Østbø is an economist with a degree in business administration from the Norwegian School of Economics. He runs his own investment and consultancy business. Østbø is chairman of the board of Norwegian Finans Holding AS and a member of various boards of directors, including those of Helse Bergen, SIVA and the University of Bergen. He also served as acting CEO of Silver Pensjonsforsikring AS during its public administration (2017–2018). He was previously a group director at DNB and CEO of Vital Forsikring and Vital Eiendom, as well as a partner and director at First Securities.

Einar Westby holds an economics degree from BI Norwegian Business School and qualified as a state-authorised public accountant at the Norwegian School of Economics. He runs his own consultancy firm. Westby has previously served as board chair of PricewaterhouseCoopers AS, where he was a partner until 2009.
  • Liselott Kilaas

    Appointed as a board member as of 16 May 2017. Liselott Kilaas holds a degree in mathematics from the University of Oslo and an MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. She is a member of the boards of DnV GL, Norsk Hydro and Orkla and in the Swedish listed companies Nobina AB and Peab AB. She previously served on the Executive Board of Norges Bank for 12 years. Liselott Kilaas also has international management experience, including from the Scandinavian health and care provider Aleris, where she spent the last three years as Group Chief Executive.
  • Tørres Trovik

    Appointed as a board member as of 25 June 2020. Tørres Trovik is an adviser at KLP, a member of the Investment Advisory Board of the Timor-Leste Petroleum Fund and chairman of the Council of Europe’s Pension Reserve Fund Management Board. His previous positions include Group Chief Investment Officer at Storebrand, Senior Investment Officer at the World Bank, Special Adviser at the Governor's Staff for Investment Management at Norges Bank and Senior Portfolio Manager at Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM). He completed a PhD in financial mathematics at the Norwegian School of Economics in 2001, and also holds an MBA from the same institution.

    Appointed as a board member as of 16 May 2021. Frances Eaton holds a law degree from the University of Bergen with further specialisation at the University of Wellington, New Zealand. Frances has extensive finance industry experience, including from various directorships of securities fund management companies and serving as Head of Business Support and Compliance at SKAGEN Funds. Her previous positions also include CEO at Nansen Capital Partners and Director of Legal and Compliance at Nysnø Klimainvesteringer.
  • Elisabeth Maråk Støle

    Appointed as a board member as of 16 May 2021. Elisabeth has served as Managing Director and Group CEO of NORCE Norwegian Research Centre AS for the past three years. She has international experience from groups like SCA, Telenor, Jotun and SafeRoad, and has previously served as board chair of several companies including SIVA SF, Gexcon AS and Prototech AS. Elisabeth has also been a director of Sparebanken Møre and a member of the Research Council of Norway’s Portfolio Board for Energy, Transport and Low/Zero Emissions. She holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland and an Executive Master of Management degree from BI Norwegian Business School.

Trond M. Døskeland completed his doctorate in 2007. He is also a member of the board of the Finance Market Fund.

    Tine Fossland was elected to Folketrygdfondet’s board of directors as the deputy employee representative in 2016, and has served as employee representative since 2017. She has been with Folketrygdfondet since 2015, working in the equities department, first as a responsible investment analyst and currently as a portfolio manager. Before joining Folketrygdfondet, Tine Fossland was a consultant at PwC and EY. She holds a Master’s degree in finance and administration from the Norwegian School of Economics and a Master’s degree in sustainable development from HEC Paris.

He has been with Folketrygdfondet since 2009, working as a finance consultant in the Department of finance and risk management. Aleksander Smerkerud holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences.
